Shane Hynes

Shane Hynes is an entrepreneur from Ireland with a passion for building scalable, owner-independent businesses. In 2017, he founded SPM Online Advertising, which quickly grew into one of the leading digital advertising firms serving clients across Ireland, the UK, the USA, and Australia. With a team spanning three continents, SPM has supported thousands of SMEs and manages millions in paid advertising spend annually across major online platforms.

Shane is also the founding director of Coolstown Capital, a private equity firm established in 2021. Coolstown specialises in acquiring established businesses from owners seeking a smooth, strategic exit. The firm goes above and beyond to help sellers maximise the value of their businesses while educating them on ways to reduce risk, structure deals effectively, and take full advantage of available tax reliefs while protecting the legacy of what they have built.

Motivated by a belief that businesses should thrive without the constant involvement of the owner, Shane launched "Delegation Bootcamp" - a consultancy helping SME business owners to systemise their business & embrace delegation so that they can build their business in to a self-sufficient machine (not just a job) that offers them freedom & control while making their business scalable & sellable.

Shane has developed several e-books & resources, such as "Get Exit Ready" (How to Build a Business That Runs Without You - and Can Be Sold) & the Project Pricing Sheet.

Beyond his core ventures, Shane is involved in various entrepreneurial projects, including founding TradeMateCRM, and is continually exploring new opportunities.

Earlier in his career, Shane worked in the electrical and semiconductor industries as well as spending time on stage as a musician for over a decade.
